Short version: we collect what you type into the two forms, we use it to answer you, and enquiry details are shown to cold stores that could serve you. Nothing is sold.
Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry form: commodity, quantity, district, your phone number and email address.
- Claim form: the store name and district, your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you write in the message.
- Analytics: if you accept cookies, Google Analytics records which pages are read, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Nothing else. There is no account, no login, no advertising pixel and no tracking beyond that.
Why, and who sees it
- Enquiries are read by us and the relevant details — commodity, quantity, district and your contact — are passed to cold stores that could take the consignment. That is the point of the form, and it is how a store is able to reply to you.
- Claims are used to verify that you are connected to the store and to correct the listing. We may telephone the number you give for that purpose.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to anyone outside those two purposes.
Who processes it for us
- Resend delivers the form submissions to us by email.
- Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs.
- Google Analytics, only if you accepted cookies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and claims are kept as email while they are useful and are deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in our Google Analytics property.
Listings are not personal data we sought
A store listing describes a business, not an individual. Where an owner has claimed a listing, the details on it are the ones he gave us. Where nobody has claimed it, it carries only the business name, address and telephone number. If a listing carries something about you personally and you want it removed, write to us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Write to info@indpotato.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Say which form you used and roughly when, so we can find it. We answer to the same address.
This site is operated from India and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to it.
