Where this data comes from

From the cold stores themselves. The owner of a store knows its capacity, its chambers, what it holds and what it will not hold, and he is the only person who knows it today rather than three years ago. So a listing here belongs to its owner: he fills it in, he corrects it, and it says so.

Claiming a listing

Claim your store and send the corrections. There is no charge, no form to sign and nothing to renew. Once the page is yours it carries your figures, and it says the owner provided them.

Entries nobody has claimed yet

A store that has not been claimed shows only what can be known from outside it — the name, the address and a telephone number. Those pages are marked unclaimed and they stay thin on purpose: an empty capacity is left empty rather than filled with an estimate. We do not verify them. Nobody here has rung a store to confirm a capacity or a telephone number. If an entry matters to a decision you are making, ring the store and ask — or better, ask the owner to claim it.

What we will not publish

No storage rates and no free space, on any page. Both change within a season and often within a week, and a number that is wrong by the time it is read is worse than no number at all. Capacity, chambers, temperature range, storage type and power backup hold between one call and the next, so those are what a listing carries.

If you know an entry is wrong and the store is not yours, tell us anyway. A wrong capacity helps nobody, least of all the store.
