22 to 24 October at NESCO, Goregaon. What is on the floor, which half of it is for you, and how to spend a single day if that is all you have.
The short answer
Dates and venues are exactly the sort of figure this site is careful about, because they move and a stale one costs a reader a wasted flight. So here is what the organiser publishes, and when we read it.
| What the organiser publishes | Source | |
|---|---|---|
| Dates | 22–24 October 2026 | Organiser’s website, read 20 September 2026 |
| Venue | Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Goregaon, Mumbai 400063 | Organiser’s website, read 20 September 2026 |
| Organiser | RX (Reed Exhibitions) | Organiser’s website, read 20 September 2026 |
| Full title | International Exhibition & Conference for Cold Storage, Reefer Trucks, Refrigeration, Cold Supply Chain industry | Organiser’s website, read 20 September 2026 |
| Registration | Visitor, exhibitor and media, through the organiser’s own site | Organiser’s website, read 20 September 2026 |
The organiser’s own visitor profile names cold storage owners, end users of cold chain, service providers and logisticians, and then adds professionals from pharmaceutical, biotech, retail, dairy, seafood, meat and processed food. Read that list in order and you have the show: a cold chain exhibition whose centre of gravity sits with the high-value, temperature-critical trades, with storage operators genuinely invited rather than tolerated.
For an owner running a bag-type potato store in western Uttar Pradesh, that is a mixed offer. The equipment on the floor — compressors, condensing units, panels, doors, controls, gensets — is the same equipment whatever is inside the chamber, and comparing six suppliers of it in an afternoon is worth a day of anybody’s year. The applications talk, the validation talk and the last-mile logistics talk are for somebody else.
The exhibitor categories the organiser lists are cold storage, refrigeration, ripening chambers, reefer transport, tracking and IoT, packaging, cold storage infrastructure, cold logistics and the wider cold supply chain.
Sorted by what it is worth to a store owner rather than by hall number:
| On the floor | Worth your time? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigeration plant, compressors, condensing units | Yes | The largest single decision you will ever re-make, and the one where standing six suppliers in a row actually helps |
| Insulation, panels, insulated doors | Yes | Quieter stands, shorter queues, and where more stores lose money than on the plant |
| Controls, monitoring, IoT | Yes | The difference between finding a problem overnight and finding a consignment in the morning |
| Cold storage infrastructure and construction | Yes, if building or expanding | Useful for shortlisting; nothing here should be signed on a show floor |
| Ripening chambers | Only if you are adding one | A different business in the same shed, with its own economics |
| Reefer transport and cold logistics | Mostly no | A transporter’s decision, not a store owner’s, unless you move your own crop |
| Packaging | Mostly no | Belongs to whoever owns the goods |
| Pharma and biotech cold chain, validation | No | Unless you are seriously considering that market, in which case it is a project, not a stand visit |
NESCO is large and three days is a lot of hotel. Most owners should treat this as a single day, done properly, and the shape that works is the same at every show: hard categories first while you are fresh, soft categories last, and nothing signed.
The organiser describes a conference running alongside the exhibition but does not, at the time we read the site, publish the programme. That is normal this far out, and it matters more than it sounds: the seminar rooms are where operators describe what they built and what it cost them, including the parts that failed, and no stand will volunteer that.
Watch the organiser’s site for the agenda in the weeks before October, and judge the second day on whether the programme has practitioners on it.
Mumbai is the expensive one. From Agra, Aligarh, Hathras or Firozabad this is a flight and at least one night, which is a real cost against a day of stand visits — and the honest comparison is with ACREX at Greater Noida in February, which for most of western Uttar Pradesh is a road journey and no hotel at all.
Goregaon is well served from the airport, and the venue is big enough that arriving late on the first morning costs you the part of the day you wanted.
India runs three shows a cold store owner might reasonably attend, and they are not interchangeable. REFCOLD India is the closest thing to an owner’s show, because refrigeration and cold chain are the entire subject rather than a hall inside something larger. ACREX India is much the largest and the easiest to reach from north India, but most of its floor is air conditioning for buildings. India Cold Chain Show sits between them: cold chain is the subject, but the applications lean towards pharma, dairy, seafood and logistics.
If you are going to exactly one show in a year and you are a potato store owner, that ranking is the answer. If you are going to this one because it is the one with dates you can make, the day-plan above is how to get your money back out of it.
We do not organise this event, sell passes to it, or take anything from anybody who exhibits at it. This page exists because owners keep asking which show is worth the trip, and because the dates are hard to find in one place with a date stamp on them.
Registration, fees and the final programme are the organiser’s to publish, and only the organiser’s site should be trusted for them.
